about
Everything dies and rises from the ashes over and over again.
Welcome the first spark of our flame, straight from the very heart of Armenia!
lyrics
Gather all your forces, all your might
We shall wait and see
The armies’ you send to their demise
Spirits shall be free
We can tear down all these chains
Holding their necks below the earth
Open their eyes as we inhale the flames
Driven by their sacral rebirth
All shall be gone
Blinded by fire!
Piercing the dawn
Of our empire,
Born in ash, we arise!
Speak no more, the mob will never hear
One that dwells in sand
Your statues shall emerge and disappear
Upon this sacred land
The colliding spheres of time
Attuning entities with stars
Move into a perfect circle of a world
We are bound to carve
All shall be gone
Blinded by fire!
Piercing the dawn
Of our empire,
Born in ash, we arise, burning the soil!
We gave away our souls
To the ever-shining sun
One could hope to feel the pain
We left behind, as a new era has begun
Our shadows can’t survive,
For there will be nothing but pure light
One can seek, one can strive
Not a single one shines bright!

I made love with my girlfriend so many times on this album. It is incredible. The songs are so beautiful and the rythm so well coordinated for this kind of moment... Anyway, always good to listen to it in the bus too Faugus

What a creative and unique EP from David! I love the intricacy and level of detail in the soundscape so much. There's always something for my ear to catch each time I visit this release. This is one of his more underrated releases, in my opinion. Great job, David! :D Erkadur

10/10 I show people I've met recently the Very Noise music video and judge their personality based on their reactions.
Anyways, I've always thought that Gautier can achieve anything he proposes, like bringing George Fucking Fisher to sing a song a Tzimisce will love. Dr. Strangelove
